When you log in via Last.fm OAuth, we collect and store:

✓ Security Note: We do NOT store your Last.fm password. OAuth tokens are encrypted and stored securely.

1.2 Scrobbling Data

When you submit scrobbles through Scrobb.com, we store:

  • Album and artist names
  • Format type (vinyl, CD, cassette, digital)
  • Scrobble timestamp
  • Track duration (when available)

1.3 Subscription Information

If you upgrade to a Supporter subscription, we store:

  • Subscription status (free or supporter)
  • Scrobbles used this month (for tracking limits)
  • Payment information is handled by Stripe (we do not store card details)

1.4 Usage Data

We may collect information about how you access and use the Service:

  • Pages visited
  • Time spent on pages
  • Click patterns
  • Device information (browser, OS, screen size)
  • IP address and location data

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for several purposes:

  • Authentication: To securely log you in and maintain your session
  • Scrobbling: To submit your scrobbles to Last.fm on your behalf
  • Statistics: To calculate and display your personal stats and leaderboards

5. Third-Party Data Sharing

We only share your data with Last.fm and Stripe (for payments), as necessary to provide our Service:

  • Last.fm: We submit your scrobbles to Last.fm (as you authorize). Last.fm's privacy policy applies to their data handling.
  • Stripe: Payment processing only. We do not share your card details.
  • Hosting Provider: Your data is stored on IONOS hosting servers.

We do NOT sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to unrelated third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Session Cookies: Necessary for login and authentication
  • Preference Cookies: To remember your theme preference (light/dark mode)
  • Analytics Cookies: To understand how you use our Service (optional)

This is necessary to provide the leaderboard service. If you do not wish to appear in leaderboards, you can request to be excluded by contacting support@scrobb.com.

9. Children's Privacy

Scrobb.com is not intended for users under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
